Martingale Collar with Chain

New to CritterGear! We are proud to now offer our martingale style collar with a chain loop. These new chain loop style martingales are just like our standard version except instead of a fabric/nylon loop, we use a very sturdy chrome plated chain loop with welded d-rings. This is very helpful for extending the life and usage of the collar because the chain loop takes all of the wear when the collar is in use.

As with our standard martingale style collars, when you attach your leash to the D-ring on the chain loop, the loop tightens and prevents your dog from slipping out of the collar. These martingale collars are perfect for training dogs not to pull while on a leash, and also for certain breeds that may have smaller heads.

All of our martingale collars are designed with two d-rings, one offers the gentle control of a choke chain, while the other offers the same control as a standard collar or can be used to hang your dog’s tags.

And as with all of our products, martingale collars are machine washable!

Proper Usage: When martingale collars are properly fitted, they should be comfortably loose when not in use. When the loop is pulled, the collar should be very snug, but should not constrict dog’s airway.
